Look at modern society. Weak, undisciplined men with no direction, no purpose, no tests to make them strong. Comfort has enslaved us, and destroyed what made us men. Our ancestors fought in wars to protect their children, their women, their civilization, and their lineage. They fought so that you could exist today. They sweated, cried, and bled. But today, we are slaves of our impulses, of our brain. Screen addicts, porn addicts, junk food addicts, consumer addicts, pitiful and miserable, this is what we are today. Divided, weak and malleable. We waste the little time we have on unimportant things, which will not build our future in any way. We sacrifice tomorrow for today, we remain cowardly and for some cloistered in their rooms. We do not evolve, we do not progress, the very idea of trying something new scares us. Our hunter-gatherer brain has no reference points and has not been prepared for today's society. Devoid of dangers comparable to what it was exposed to before, devoid of trials and obstacles that made them strong. And it is not by chance that we are so weak. In this way, we are more malleable, weaker, less threatening to them. Today, we are all the weakest of our lineages. Unable to perform a complete task without being at least partially distracted, without procrastinating and putting it off. We care about what people think, we imitate them to avoid rejection. But imitating mediocrity will only make us mediocre. What about our ancestors? The Romans, the Spartans, the Catholics, the Arabs, the Crusaders, the Vikings, the Saxons, the Gauls, the Greeks, the Byzantines, empires to lead and conquests that turn one man's ambition into a shock that reverberates throughout the world. But also men who have left their mark on the world, each having accomplished a feat that remains engraved throughout history. Alexander the Great, Julius Caesar, Marcus Aurelius, Vercingetorix, Spartacus, Aristotle, William the Conqueror, Emperor Justinian, Constantine the Great, Basil II, Augustus, Romulus and Remus, Aurelian, Empress Theodora, Cleopatra, Michelangelo, Beethoven, Mozart, Paganini, Jesus Christ, Moses, and much, much more; but without limiting ourselves to historical figures, modern times also WERE made up of great minds: Nikola Tesla, Albert Einstein, Bruce Lee, Napoleon Bonaparte, Stephen Hawking, Isaac Newton, Michael Faraday, Charles Darwin, Sigmund Freud, and a countless number of other great men who have shaped history. But today? No one anymore. No more great minds, no more great scientists, philosophers, conquerors, no. Excellence has been replaced by the ordinary and the mediocre, by idiocy and conformity, in a society of fools. "In a mad world, only the mad are sane." - Kurosawa. The old societies were healthier. The two sexes did not hate each other, nor did gender went from rightfully meaning sex to something totally retarded and self destructive nowadays, they tell you that there are no differences, biological or whatsoever between men and women (but every scientists will tell you otherwise), that a man can be a woman and a woman can be a man (and in the ancient times, there were 0 people that pushed these sorts of ideas, or at least it did not had a dangerous amount of influence in the world); healthy relationships were there, a virtuous circle where the strongest got what they wanted, a cult of excellence and strength. And when one was in the midst of strong men, even if he was weak, undoubtedly, he too became strong. They had the REAL values of masculinity and femininity. No degenerates, no destructive people for humanity. Religion was a core part of every societies, and nowadays it simply was (purposefully) destroyed, and look at the results nowadays. You're free to disagree with me of course, although I do imagine I did offended you if you do. And I don't really care. But other than that, everything was different. The way of approaching history, the way of approaching social relationships, norms and values, lifestyles, and the society was not a technocracy or an industrial or consumer society. Everything is enviable. But it is impossible to save the world if one does not save itself first. Retake your life back in your hands. Destroy unhealthy habits and addictions, no matter how many times you fail. Don't worry too much about what people think of you. Workout, meditate, do some excercise, do some journaling, learn, and replace all the activities that make you weak by activities that make you stronger (not necessarily physically, it could also be mentally like replacing video-games with chess, i'm just giving an example). Have clear objectives, and above all, read. They say that knowledge is in books. And it is. Here, another gift. If you want to have any book available for free (on screen however), search libgen.fun on google.
The only thing that separates a man from excellence is his choices. It's up to you to make your own. Seek strength. Seek abnormality, normality today simply means being mediocre, without purpose, docile and weak. Seek discipline and strength. Seek what you really are. And humans did not evolved to live the same way you do in your bedroom in front of technology that enslaved you. Nor did prehistoric men, surviving through each mean necessary, they did not all die and fought and suffered so you could waste your entire life on porn and video-games or junk food, seeking comfort in degeneracy and worlds that do not even exist. Sacrifice today for your tomorrow self. Your ancestors live in peace, for they have deserved it. They fought so you could exist today. And you do not exist to be mediocre. You exist to achieve greatness. Give them the respect you deserve by making them proud of you. And connect with God if possible, for he gave everything to you, whether you know it or not.
It is all a matter of choice. And whatever you choose, remember that it is your own responsability. No one else's.
